Captain Skull of the Damned

The Captain Skull of the Damned is a Ghostly type of Bounty Skull in Sea of Thieves. These Ghostly Skulls are the phantom remains of Bounty Skulls held by Ghost Ships that resurface from the Sea of the Damned. The Skulls are valuable to the Order of Souls Madames stationed at Outposts.

Madames stationed inside Order of Souls tents on Outposts for Gold and Order of Souls Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as an Order of Souls Emissary).
The Servant of the Flame at The Reaper’s Hideout for Gold and Reaper's Bones Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Reaper's Bones Emissary).

Notes

Picking up and placing Bounty Skulls on a Ship for the first time gives Emissary Grade Reputation to Trading Company Emissaries representing the Order of Souls or Reaper's Bones.
When a defeated Ghost Ship has Treasure on board, ghostly wraiths will circle around it to make the Treasure more visible.
Bounty Skulls can be placed inside any Container Chests. These Chests hide their glow and allow Players to carry up to three small Treasure items.
All Bounty Skulls emit a Green Glow from a distance.
All Bounty Skulls constantly whisper to anyone close to them.
Bounty Skulls can be caught with a Harpoon.
The Hunter of Damned Captains Commendation that requires players to sell 50 of these Skulls also gets updated when the skulls are sold to the Reaper's Bones, despite the Commendation itself belonging under Order of Souls Commendations.
