Where to find
Chests of Fortune can be found from the following sources:
- Guaranteed to be found in the vault of the Fort of The Damned during Season 14.
- Chance to dig up from Pop-Up Plunder during Community Weekend events.
Rewards
Chests of Fortune can be sold to:
- Hoarders stationed at Gold Hoarders tents on Outposts for Gold and Gold Hoarders Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Gold Hoarders Emissary)
- The Servant of the Flame at The Reaper's Hideout for Gold and Reaper's Bones Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Reaper's Bones Emissary)
- The Sovereigns at the Sovereigns Hut on Outposts for Gold and Gold Hoarders Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Gold Hoarders Emissary or Guild Emissary)

- Crews who retrieve Chests of Fortune can now earn the next Grade of the Fortune's Favour Commendation, unlocking access to the Regal Fortune Figurehead, Hull and Sails.

- For the duration of Season 11, the Chest of Fortune will surface following the defeat of an emergent Fleet of Fortune. These special Skeleton Fleet encounters are signified by a glowing red cloud in the sky when active.
- Crews who retrieve Chests of Fortune can now earn the next Grade of the Fortune's Favour Commendation, unlocking access to the Fates of Fortune Cannon, Flag, Capstan and Wheel.
