The Grapple Gun is a ranged traversal tool in Sea of Thieves.

Usage

• Shoot Grapple Gun: Primary Use will shoot a loaded arrowhead.
• Aim Grapple Gun: Holding Secondary Use will aim the grapple gun

Mechanics

• Pulls Treasure, Items, and other Pirates towards the player when hit.
• Pulls the player towards nearly surface that's been hit.
  • Certain surfaces cannot be grappled to and will instantly retract the Grapple Gun instead of pulling you towards the target.
    • Sloop and Brigantines cannot be grappled to, except for ladder.
    • The entirety of the Athena's Fortune Hideout cannot be grappled to.
  • Attempting to grapple while being fired out of a cannon will also instantly retract the Grapple gun.
