The Sapphire Mermaid Gem is one of the Mermaid Gems in Sea of Thieves. Mermaid Gems are the cores of Cursed Mermaid Statues found near islands.

Notes
- Picking up and placing Mermaid Gems on a Ship for the first time gives Emissary Grade Reputation to Trading Company Emissaries representing all factions except Athena's Fortune.
- Sapphire Mermaid Gems emit a light blue Glint from a distance.
- Mermaid Gems can be placed inside any Container Chests. These Chests allow Players to carry up to three small Treasure items.
- Mermaid Gems can be caught with a Harpoon.
