Season Eight Community Day
Season Eight Community Day is the special 24-hour event for Season Eight to celebrate the Sea of Thieves community. The event offers login rewards, Twitch Drops, Allegiance boost, and a Community Emissary Grade multiplier on gold, reputation, and Seasonal Renown that can be boosted up to a maximum of a 2.5x by the player community using the Twitter hashtag #SeaOfThievesCommunityDay.
It runs from February 11, 2023 (10:00 UTC) to February 12, 2023 (10:00 UTC).
Official summary
While it might be a little too late to wish you all a Happy New Year, we can definitely wish you a Happy February – and with it, the arrival of another Sea of Thieves Community Day. This Valentine’s Day-tinted community celebration is one to slink straight into your sailing schedules, with the proceedings kicking off at 10am UTC on Saturday, February 11th and lasting a full 24 hours.
Whether this is your first or your fourth Community Day, these events are all about celebrating every pirate who chooses to spend time on our seas. While there is an outrageous amount of gold, glory and goodies on offer, the core aim of these pirate parties is to shine the spotlight on our amazing sailors and salute their spirit. So we hope you’ll join us this Community Day to share some screenshots, bag some swag and spread some love across the waves of the Sea of Thieves!
Rewards
Gold, reputation, and Renown multiplier
All tweets made with the hashtag #SeaOfThievesCommunityDay over the duration of the community event were counted into the Community Emissary Grade, with more tweets resulting in a higher multiplier on gold, reputation, and Seasonal Renown up to a maximum of a 2.5x until the end of the event.
Note: Gold Rush is disabled for the duration of Community Day.
Allegiance boost
In addition to the Community Day multiplier, there is a fixed boost to Allegiance to accelerate players' Faction progress.
Free cosmetics
All players who enter a game session during the event are automatically gifted the following rewards.

Emporium sale
From Saturday, February 11th to Wednesday, February 15th (10am UTC) the Pirate Emporium will offer a Delightful Discount Sale offering sale on items such as the Reaper's Heart Pets and matching weapons and a whole host of romanticly themed emotes.
Merchandise sale
A celebratory sale is made available on the Sea of Thieves merchandise store for the duration of the event. All Sea of Thieves themed merchandise was discounted by 30% with the use of the promotional code COMMUNITYDAY at checkout.
During the sale, a limited Community Day t-shirt and a physical Season Eight Community Day Flag are available for purchase.
