Shark
Sharks are hostile sea creatures in Sea of Thieves. Sharks can appear either alone or in small groups and will inflict damage to players with their bite, dealing 50 damage. A vanquished shark will drop a piece of Shark meat.
They can be killed with any weapon, generally taking 3 hits from any firearm and 5 sword hits.
Where to find
Sharks are attracted to shipwrecks, naval combat, and Megalodons which make them spawn in larger groups (2-4 sharks). When in calmer waters, the shark spawn rate is reduced, making it possible for a player to swim from one island to the next with little to no disturbances.
Shark meat
When a shark is killed it drops a piece of Shark meat, which can be cooked and sold to The Hunter's Call or to the Sovereigns for a lesser price.
