Burning Blade

The Burning Blade is the flagship of Captain Flameheart's fleet, helmed by Flameheart himself. It is encountered during the final wave of a Ghost Fleet encounters. The ship may also be encountered in max level ghost fleet voyages from Order of Souls.

Lore

The first mention of The Burning Blade was during The Shroudbreaker. According to the Pirate Lord's account, his quest for the Shroudbreaker Artefact came to an end because of an encounter with the Burning Blade, which caught up to and sank the Pirate Lord's Ship, The Magpie’s Wing.

The ghostly apparition of the Burning Blade itself is seen at the end of Heart of Fire inside Flameheart's Lair. The ship is also encountered during the final wave of the Ghost Fleet World Event, sailing among Flameheart's fleet of Ghost Ships, including the Ashen Dragon.

The Figurehead of the Burning Blade has been kept intact inside an altar for Flameheart in Wanda’s Hideout on Wanderers Refuge. Wanda also had managed to also acquire one of the Burning Blade's Cannons, which she used to develop Cursed Cannonballs.

During the A Dark Deception Adventure, it was revealed in a journal by Hammer & Anvil that reconstruction of the Burning Blade has started after the figurehead was retrieved from Wanda's old hideout. A small piece of the figurehead had to be retrieved for the creation of an enchanted compass.

Burning Blade Cosmetics

The Burning Blade Sails can be unlocked for purchase from the Shipwright Shop by earning the Banisher of the Spectral Flame Commendation by defeating the Burning Blade 10 times in a Ghost Fleet World Event or in max level Ghost Ship Voyages obtained from the Order of Souls.
