Treasure Map Voyage
This page is deprecatedTreasure Map Voyages are Voyages offered by the Gold Hoarders Trading Company in Sea of Thieves. These Voyages see Crews completing a series of one or more X Marks the Spot Map or Riddle Map Quests that lead to various Treasure Chests or Artefacts that can be sold back to the Hoarders for Gold, Reputation and Emissary Value.
The Voyage
Treasure Map Voyages are sold by Gold Hoarders Representatives at any Outpost. These Voyages are the basic Voyages of Gold Hoarders, giving Player Crews one or more X Marks the Spot Map and/or Riddle Map Quests. The number of total Quests received is mostly dependent on the level of the Voyage, which is dependent on the Promotion rank of the player who bought the Voyage. Sometimes, the Quests are presented in Chapters.
The X Marks the Spot Maps lead players to Islands with X's that denote the location of buried Treasure Chests. The Players need to locate the X's and use their Shovel to dig up the buried Chest. Higher value Chests have a higher chance of appearing during higher level Voyages.
Riddle Maps lead players to a Large Island with a 2-4 line riddles. The amount of Riddle lines per Map is dependent on the difficulty of the Voyage. The Riddles take players to specific landmarks on the island and require them to perform an action with the Map, their Lantern or Instruments. The final riddle will denote the exact location of a Collector's Chest a certain number of steps away from a landmark. This chest needs to be dug up with a Shovel. The Collector's Chest can be opened for a chance of finding Gold and Artefacts inside.
Treasure Map Voyages are counted complete when all the Map Quests have been used up and all the Treasure dug up.
Ashen Gold Hoarders Voyages
Players can purchase Devil's Roar region specific Ashen Gold Hoarders Voyages at Morrow's Peak Outpost that lead players to Ashen versions of Gold Hoarders Treasure throughout the Islands in the Roar.
