Brig

Disambig.png This article is about the prison cell found on Brigantines and Galleons. For the ship type, see Brigantine.

The brig is a prison cell where a single crewmate can be confined if the majority of the crew votes to do so. Crew members can vote another crew member to the brig via the "My Crew" section of the "Game Options" menu. Once voted in, players must serve a minimum sentence of five minutes before their crew can vote to unlock them again.

Only the Galleon and the Brigantine have a brig on board, in both cases being on the lowest deck which could expose any locked-up crewmates to repeated drowning if the hull is flooded.

The imprisoned crewmate is isolated from interacting with the rest of the ship, but can still use their inventory such as to play shanties and bucket floodwater. The brig will not block explosive damage or flood into the enclosure.

Notes

  • Requires majority vote to send a player in and out out the brig.
  • Any teleport to the ship will route the imprisoned crewmate back into the brig.
