Equipment are items used to perform common tasks in Sea of Thieves.
Cosmetics to change the appearance of an equipment item are purchased at the Equipment Shop or acquired from other sources such as Twitch Drops. These cosmetics can be equipped at a Equipment Chest. While most cosmetics typically only offer a change of visual appearance with no significant gameplay advantages, certain Spyglass cosmetics will change the tint of the spyglass' scope tint or its shape.
