Grogmanay (2023) is the annual New Years themed event in Sea of Thieves for the end of 2023. The event begins on December 30, 2022 and lasts until January 2, 2023.
The event will offer a chance to unlock the Grogmanay 1st Annual Tankard for first-time participants, while returning participants with a Grogmanay Tankard will receive a new notch to their golden Tankard.
Official summary
This year we’re keeping it simple: just log in and play Sea of Thieves during this period for a free tankard if it’s your first Grogmanay, or an extra notch in your Grogmanay Tankard if you took part in previous years! Veteran revellers will now be up to four notches...
