The Battle for L.A. was an official all-star invitational tournament on June 10th, 2019. Hosted by Xbox Game Studios and Mixer, this tournament was set within the Sea of Thieves Arena featuring four Mixer Partners and a crew chosen by RARE. The tournament was split over 5 Arena rounds, with each crew member of the 1st place team winning an exclusive gold plated Xbox One X.
5 Silver for a player kill, 25 Silver for a Cannon hit on an enemy Ship.
-1000 Silver for your Ship sinking.
Points
Points were given to teams based on their final position on the ladder of each round:
1st Place = 5 Points
2nd Place = 4 Points
3rd Place = 3 Points
4th Place = 2 Points
5th Place = 1 Point
In the final round (5), double points were awarded based on teams final positions on the ladder for the round. The team with the most total points at the end of the fifth round, wins.

Each member of The Shrouded Ghosts was given a Gold Plated Xbox one X as a prize. With Joe Neate as a Rare employee, his Xbox One X was donated to Special Effect, a UK-based charity assisting gamers with physical disabilities. The Xbox went to auction on the 29th of September 2019 for £0.99 and ended on the 1st of October 2019 for £4,100.00 after 45 bids.
