Fleets can refer to multiple things among the Playerbase of Sea of Thieves:
- Skeleton Fleets - The World Event indicated by a Ship-shaped stormcloud, where players have to take on three waves of Skeleton Ships.
- Fleet of Fortune - A World Event that is similar to the Skeleton Fleet event, but more challenging, thusly rewarding pirates with the Chest of Fortune. It is indicated by a glowing red Ship-shaped stormcloud.
- Player Fleets - Often, large-scale Player Alliances are called Fleets by the community.
