The Gamescom 2017 Contest was a promotional event held during Gamescom 2017.
Contest
The Contest ran from 8:00am BST on August 22nd to 8:00am BST on August 27th, 2017.
Participants were required to be part of Sea of Thieves Insider Programme.
Prizes
Main Prize:
- Winning crew would each receive a Xbox One S Console and Sea of Thieves Controller.
- The winning Entrants were members of the first Crew of which one member picked up the treasure chest labelled, “Chest of Boundless Sorrow”.
Runners up prize:
- 24 qualifying players would receive a Swag Bag containing Sea of Thieves marketing and promotional items.
- In order to be earn an entry into the draw for the runners up prizes, Entrants were required to be members in any Crew of which one member completed the in game action of cashing in a Chest of Boundless Sorrow. Entrants were allowed to make multiple entries into the draw for the runners up prize.
Skulls locations
A total of 8 coloured skulls (one pair per colour) were hidden across the Seas of Thieves.
