The Captain of the Fortress is a Phantom boss encountered on the final wave of an active Sea Fort. It will appear alongside a small number of regular Sea Fort Phantoms once crews have completed each wave leading up to the final one. The Captain of the Fortress will drop a Fortress Treasury Key on defeat, allowing players to unlock the bulk of the Sea Fort's treasure in the Treasury Vault on the lower level of the fort.
The Captain of the Fort can be identified by an orange nameplate over its head. The boss functions identically to any other Phantom with the only difference being that it has increased health.
