Beacons

Beacons are an object-type point of interest in Sea of Thieves. They are large braziers that players can interact with to light up using their regular lantern flame or a Flame of Fate. There are 12 in total found on large islands across the regions of the world. They were introduced as part of the Festival of the Damned event and have Commendations tied to lighting them.

Mechanics

Players can light a beacon by raising their lantern or a Skull of Destiny with Secondary Use. If a beacon is actively lit with a flame, then it can be extinguished using a bucket of water.

The Shores of Plenty	Smuggler's Bay - Found up on the cliffs toward the center of the island. Accessible by foot. Cannon Cove - Found atop the central rock peak. Accessible by Grapple Gun or cannon. Mermaid's Hideaway - Found on the cliff above the island's pond. Accessible by foot.
The Ancient Isles	Plunder Valley - Found at the very top of the island. Accessible by foot. Crook's Hollow - Found at the highest point of the island's southern side. Accessible by foot. Devil's Ridge - Found atop the island's peak, above a waterfall. Accessible by foot.
The Wilds	Marauder's Arch - Found midway across the main bridging arch between islands, accessed from the north-west path. Accessible by foot. The Crooked Masts - Found atop the northern peak of the island. Accessible by Grapple Gun or cannon. Kraken's Fall - Found on a lower peak towards the north end of the island. Easily Accessible by foot.
The Devil's Roar	Fetcher's Rest - Found on a small peak atop the northern island. Accessible by foot. Ruby's Fall - Found near the central bridge that connects the northern hills to the southern volcano. Accessible by foot. The Devil's Thirst - Found on the prominent rock formation facing west. Accessible by foot.

	Legend of The Damned	Find and light all Beacons around The Sea of Thieves with a Flame of Fate. Note: This can be completed across multiple sessions.	+50 Rewards the Legend of The Damned Title.
