According to Tasha, Briggsy once told to her that more "holes" or small "tunnels" are forming between the Sea of Thieves and the Sea of the Damned. Because of that, many ancient artifacts, like the Skull of Siren Song and the Horn of Fair Winds found their way into the Sea of Thieves.
Trivia
- During development, the Horn of Fair Winds was named "Wind Caller", which was used throughout the Sea of Thieves 2024 Preview Event video from March 2024 that announced the item.
