The Root Beer Bottle is a consumable weapon used during The Journey to Mêlée Island and The Lair of LeChuck Tall Tales. This is so far the only weapon effective in dispatching LeChuck and his Ghost Pirates.
Usage
The Root Beer Bottle has two functions; Pressing the primary fire will eject a spray of root beer in front of the player for as long as the button is held, while pressing the alt-fire button will respectively shake the bottle to build up fizz.
Though not clearly communicated to the player, shaking the bottle will temporarily increase the damage of the spray, proportionally to how long it was shaken for, which in turn reduces the amount of root beer needed to dispatch individual enemies. It's advisable to constantly shake the Root Beer Bottle whenever it's not actively being used to fight.
Like all continuous-fire weapons, the Root Beer Bottle has a limited supply of ammunition that cannot be replenished. This is visually communicated to the player by how the reservoir of soda gradually lowers as it is continuously used. When the bottle is empty, it can no longer be used.

The Journey to Mêlée Island
The Root Beer Bottle can be found in the Governor's Mansion inside the Mighty Pirate Chest.
The Lair of LeChuck
The Root Beer Bottle can be found in the crate near the Scumm Bar.
