The Renaming Deed is an item purchasable by from the Pirate Emporium for 499 Ancient Coins. It allows Captains to rename one of their owned ships, or a Guild owners to rebrand their Guild.

Usage

Once purchased, one of a player's owned ships or Guilds can be renamed from the "My Ships"/"My Guilds" menus found under the Play tab on the Main Menu. Once used and the changes have been saved, the Renaming Deed will be successfully used and no longer be available until purchased again.

A ship's name must abide by the following requirements.

  • Must be between 1 and 20 characters long.
  • Cannot contain numbers.
  • Cannot start or end with a space.
  • Cannot use certain special characters.

A Guild's name must abide by the following requirements:

  • Cannot contain any numbers.
  • Cannot use certain special characters.
  • 20 characters maximum.
  • Cannot start or end with a space.

Please note that names found to break the Xbox or Steam Code of Conduct will have the appropriate actions taken.
