The Main Menu, or Front End Menu, is the first menu screen in Sea of Thieves players reach after the title screen. It displays the player's pirate alongside several options ranging from play session setup, game news, settings and more.

Discover
What's New - See featured new events, giveaways, release notes, Emporium highlights, and more. Pirate Emporium - Access the premium cosmetic shop. Play - Begin a play session.
Play
Choose Your Experience Adventure - Start Adventure Mode inside a tavern. The Legend of Monkey Island - Start Adventure Mode outside Capsize Charters. Maiden Voyage - Play the tutorial and learn the basics. Choose ship size and crew options. Access the My Ships section to purchase, manage and sail upon Captained ships.
Guilds
Join or Create a Guild Guild Invites - See unanswered Guild invitations Create a Guild - Begin a brand new Guild. (Requires an unpledged Captained ship) Guilds Guild Members - View players pledged to the chosen Guild. Guild Ships - View ships currently pledged to the chosen Guild. Emissary Ledger - View an overview of the chosen Guild's Emissary Ledger progress Guild Chronicles - View recent activity of the chosen Guild.
Pirate Log
Season - View Season Progress, Trials, and Events Repuation - View progression with Tall Tales, Trading Companies and Guilds, with details on current Company levels, Emissary Ledgers, and Commendations. Pinned progression - Pin up to three Reputation categories for quick access.

  • New Front End Menu – New ways to play provide a host of new options! When you load in to Sea of Thieves, you’ll now be able to choose between The Arena and Adventure.

  • If the game is unable to delete your pirate from the front end settings screen, it will no longer cause an infinite loading screen.
