Season Seven is the seventh season in Sea of Thieves. Due to two separate delays, it began on August 4th, 2022 and ended on November 22, 2022.

Seasonal Progression

Trials

In addition to regularly earned Renown, the Season Seven Trials offer an additional boost of Renown.

Plunder Pass

Purchasing the Plunder Pass will grant players access to Pirate Emporium items and additional Ancient Coins as Season Seven Rewards. These cosmetic items are early-access items that will be released at a later date after the Season ends.

Rewards

Base rewards for all levels are available for free to all players, with additional rewards for Pirate Legends and premium rewards for Plunder Pass players.

Community Day

September 17, 2022

Season Seven Community Day is a special 24-hour event to celebrate the player community, offering login rewards, Twitch Drops, boosted renown and a Community Emissary Grade multiplier on gold and reputation (up to 2.5x), with an increase in Ancient Skeleton spawns at Community Emissary Grade 5.

Note: Gold Rush will not be active during Season Seven Community Day.

Rusty Cutlasses Restocked

• The Outpost weapon shops have been restocked with a range of old cutlasses, allowing pirates to once again purchase the Grand Admiral, Castaway Bilge Rat, Scurvy Bilge Rat and Ruffian Sea Dog Cutlasses.

Additional Sail Colours

• The Outpost shipwrights have added new sails to their wares for players to purchase with gold. The new sails on offer include the Navy Blue Sailor, Burgundy Sailor, Bottle Green Sailor, Orange Sailor and Purple Sailor Sails.
