Update chronology
Season Eleven is the eleventh season in Sea of Thieves. It began on January 23, 2024 and ended on April 30, 2024, lasting a total of 14 weeks.
Seasonal Progression
Trials
In addition to regularly earned Renown, the Season Eleven Trials offer an additional boost of Renown.
Plunder Pass
Purchasing the Plunder Pass will grant players access to Pirate Emporium items and additional Ancient Coins as Season Eleven Rewards. These cosmetic items are early-access items that will be released at a later date after the Season ends.

Sixth Anniversary Celebration
March 20 - 25, 2024 (11:00 UTC)
A special event that sees players finding and solving quests from Legendary Messages in Bottles, plus a free Golden Sailor Capstan log-in bonus.

Trivia
- Upon the launch of Season 11, the in-game season countdown quoted a total duration of 17 weeks (119 days), estimating the end date to be May 21, 2024. It was later announced that the launch of Season 12 would begin on April 30, 2024 to coincide with the launch of Sea of Thieves on PlayStation 5.
