The Wailing Barnacle Set is a cosmetic set in Sea of Thieves. It has an underwater motif featuring fish, barnacles, and coral. Its colour palette features blue, brown, dark greys and highlights of coral.
Many pieces of the set were only available for a limited time during the Cursed Sails, Cursed Crews and Shrouded Spoils content updates as apart of Bilge Rat Adventures. The remaining items can be purchased with gold or Doubloons from Outpost Shops (some requiring the Hoarder of Barnacled Gold commendation), while the Pet Outfits are available for purchase in the Pirate Emporium.
This set has two recolours in the form of the Silent Barnacle Set and the Bristling Barnacle Set.
Lore
The Wailiing Barnacle was once briefly commanded by Stitcher Jim. Despite having a figurehead thought to appease the spirits of the sea, its final fate was to rest at the bottom of it. Its cannons were eventually retrieved and refurbished into the Golden Barnacle Cannons.
