A Hat is a Clothing Item type in Sea of Thieves, which can be equipped at the Clothing Chest. Most hat variations can be purchased at the General Clothing Shop. Hats are purely cosmetic and do not provide players with any additional effects. In Sea of Thieves, any equipped Hats have unique interactions with Hair styles available in-game. Most longer hairstyles do not get completely covered by hats and still maintain their style under the hat.
