Tricksters and Treaters
Tricksters and Treaters is a Halloween themed event that began on October 28th, 2022 and ended on November 1st, 2022. During the event, in-game actions would contribute to community goals to earn rewards, while an additional "trick or treat lucky dip" was available also on Twitter with the chance to earn or lose a small amount of gold.

Some traditions transcend time and place, as you can see from the Tricksters and Treaters Event getting ready to go on the last weekend of the month! Ready to mark the season of sinister surprises with some special Sea of Thieves initiatives? Tricksters and Treaters are out competing on the seas. while social tricks and treats can be triggered right here!
- This year, Sea of Thieves marks the spooky season in a new way: with a Tricksters and Treaters in-game Event that asks pirates to enable generous treats or undertake dastardly tricks!
- Tricksters and Treaters compete to raise enough points to meet their own cumulative Community Goals, with bespoke rewards and a Title on offer to those who play their part.
Trick or Treat on Twitter
With your Sea of Thieves and Twitter accounts linked, tweet "Trick or Treat" and tag @SeaOfThieves in your post. After around 15 minutes you will be randomly selected to either earn or lose between around 1 - 400 
in-game.

Tricksters and Treaters race to complete their global community goal. If your first action ends up contributing to the side first to reach their global goal, you'll receive an exclusive title.

Treater challenges
Complete Treater challenges to contribute to the Treaters global community goal. Earn 500 points to earn the Treater's Reward Hat when the Treaters global community goal is reached.
Additionally, if your first action is for the Treaters, and the Treaters global community goal is the first to be reached, you'll earn an exclusive title.

Notes
Due to a bug with the distribution of the Triumphant Tricky Treater Title, the title was awarded to all players who had earned either or both of the Trickster's Reward Hat and the Treater's Reward Hat[1][2].
