Captain's Week is a special event to promote Captaincy progression rebalancing in Sea of Thieves. The event is active from June 15, 2023 to June 22, 2023.

It's time to take to the seas on a vessel of your own! Captain's Week is here with a range of boosted rewards, discounted items and exclusive cosmetics to be claimed by bold pirates sailing on a Captained ship.
In-game discounts
For the duration of Captain's Week, all new ship purchases – be they Sloops, Brigantines, or Galleons – come at a 60% discount!
Rewards
Progress boost
Players handing in treasure while sailing on a Captained ship during this Captain's Week will enjoy a boost to the amount of gold, reputation, Allegiance and Seasonal Renown earned.
Challenge rewards
Earn rewards by handing in the required number of treasure items to the Sovereigns.
Note: Items counted to challenge progress exclude fish, food and Treacherous Plunder intended for The Hunter's Call).

Pirate Emporium sale
Running alongside Captain's Week is an in-game Pirate Emporium sale focusing on cosmetic items relevant to Captaincy, including Ship's Crests, Rare Goods Trinket Bundle, Rare Wares Trinket Bundle and, for the first time, the Ship Renaming Deed.

To tie in with Captain's Week, the Sea of Thieves 24k Gold-Plated Athena's Fortune Ship Plaque available from the Rare Store is on offer at a substantial discount from June 15th-22nd (10am UTC)!
