Ancient Amulet

..And now, she can guide us in person with the amulet!

The Ancient Amulet is a Quest Item used during The Secret Wilds Adventure. The amulet begins as a fragment and must be reassembled using a total of four , three of which are found in chests buried by Briggsy. The amulet must be fully assembled to complete the Secret Wilds adventure.

When first acquired, the amulet is known as Small Stone Fragment. The item's name will change to reflect its assembled state depending on the number of pieces acquired: Stone Fragment for two pieces, Large Stone Fragment for three pieces, and Ancient Amulet when fully assembled.

Mechanics

Players can obtain the first fragment from Madame Olivia when starting The Secret Wilds, the remaining three fragments are found hidden away inside of Briggsy's Chests scattered across Crooked Masts, Old Faithful Isle, and Marauder's Arch. With each fragment gained, the amulet is slowly restored to it's original state.

The completed amulet must be turned into Briggsy in order to progress The Secret Wilds.

Lore

The Ancient Amulet is a medallion made by the Ancients, it functions both as a key to a temple hidden within the Sea of the Damned and as a means to guide its holder to the hidden temple's location.

The temple connected with this amulet contains a deep importance to the royal bloodlines of the Ancients and was intended to function as a form of trials for a king to prove themselves. However, due to the manipulation of outside forces, the temple was corrupted from its original purpose... Becoming a turning point, a moment in the sands of fate between the paths of good and evil. Or perhaps- even the path to both the origin of and method of curing the skeleton curse.
