Enchanted Compass
The Enchanted Compass is a magical Compass Quest Item that points to where the players can find the last location for The Cursed Rogue Tall Tale and A Dark Deception Adventure. The Enchanted Compass can only be acquired as part of specific Tall Tales and Adventures and is equipped via the Map Radial Menu.
Obtaining
The Cursed Rogue
The Enchanted Compass is obtained by bringing the belongings of Captain Briggsy to Madame Olivia at Plunder Outpost. The Compass needs to be picked up from inside the Ritual Box after Madame Olivia has completed her ritual.
A Dark Deception
The Enchanted Compass is obtained by bringing Pendragon's Pocket Watch and the Figurehead Fragment to Madame Olive at Sanctuary Outpost. Unlike during The Cursed Rogue, the compass will automatically be added to your inventory.
Mechanics
Player Crews acquire an Enchanted Compass during The Cursed Rogue Tall Tale and A Dark Deception Adventure. Unlike your regular compass, the Enchanted Compass can only be equipped from the Map Radial Menu (E/
) during this specific Tall Tale. The Enchanted Compass acts identically to the Player's Compass, with the Primary Use button (
/
) bringing the compass closer to view. When the Enchanted Compass is equipped, players will be able to use it to track the next quest location.
Tips and Tricks
The Cursed Rogue
- If your ship sinks with Briggsy's Skull, and you lose it, the compass will not be gone. Allowing you to "Retrack" Captain Briggsy.
A Dark Deception
- If your Adventure Progress gets interrupted after obtaining the compass, you can restart A Dark Deception on Chapter 2 at Larinna and can immediately recreate the compass at Madame Olive.
