Black Pearl
The Black Pearl is the famous ship of Captain Jack Sparrow, initially found shipwrecked and enchained on the ocean floor of the Sunken Kingdom. After Davy Jones was defeated and the Spire is sent back to the depths, the Black Pearl was repaired and raised from the ocean depths thanks to the merfolk.
Lore
Early History
Before its arrival to The Sea of Thieves, the Black Pearl is Jack Sparrow's faithful companion and the fastest ship on the seas. She has been known for many adventures while captained either by Jack or his notorious frenemy, Hector Barbossa.
After the events of Dead Men Tell No Tales, Jack sensed that the thrill of adventure has been conspicuous by its absence. That was until a rumor of a glittering trinket that could carry entire ships to other realms hit his ears. however, the treasure was kept by Davy Jones, and Jack Sparrow executed a plan to steal the treasure. He succeeded, but Jones was after Jack on the Dutchman, so Jack resorted to using the treasure to have the Pearl and her crew cross between worlds, hoping to escape Davy Jones once and for all.
A Pirate's Life
However, Jones managed to follow Jack and the Pearl to the Sea of Thieves, and the Black Pearl was sunk and enchained in the depths of the Sunken Kingdom as a "Gift" for the Siren Queen.
During the battle to the Spire, with the power of the Sea of the Damned, a ghostly replica of the Black Pearl was raised to assist the Sea of Thieves pirates in fighting against the Dark Brethen's ghost fleet. It was backed up by the ships of Rose, Eli Slate, and Pendragon.
After the final fight against Jones, with the help of the merfolk, the Black Pearl would return to the surface. Jack and his crew and the Captains of the Damned were present, then the Ferryman appears before Jack, giving him back the Treasure Jack had sworn to protect and apologizing for being rash towards the captain. The Ferryman would then give Jack, Wild Rose, and George a second chance at life, returning them to their living forms.
After Rose and George accepted the offer to join Jack's crew while Pendragon and Slate chose to stay, Jack stated that he will one day return to the Sea of Thieves. The Black Pearl then sails away as the crew sings Yo Ho! (A Pirate's Life For Me) before Jack uses the Treasure to venture beyond the horizon. The current whereabouts of Jack and his beloved Pearl are unknown.
The Legend of Monkey Island
Over at Stan's Previously Owned Vessels on Mêlée Island, the Black Pearl is seen once again. However, due to trade secrets, Stan can't spoil the details of how he acquired the Pearl.
When the pirates return to the Sea of the Damned, Guybrush, aboard the Black Pearl with Mancomb, Chef, Spiffy and Cobb, brews the potion needed to reach Monkey Island. After they arrive, Mancomb states that the Pearl they sailed in is a replica, indicating that the real Black Pearl and Jack Sparrow have yet to return to the Sea of Thieves.
