Chicken
Chickens are passive Creatures in Sea of Thieves which can be found on Islands. They can be captured in Chicken Coops to sell to the Merchant Alliance, especially at the request of their Trade Good Ledgers. As of the Anniversary Update, Chickens can now be killed for meat, which can be sold to The Hunter's Call. Their type does not affect the meat dropped.
Types of Chickens
There are four varieties of Chickens, each with its own price of Gold.
A Chicken is worth 10x more Gold when commissioned through the Merchant Alliance voyages.
