Ponds
Ponds are a feature of many islands scattered across the Sea of Thieves. They are the only source of freshwater and the only locations where freshwater Pondies can be caught.

Pondies
Pondies are hungry fish that live in fresh water. Some pirates called them 'Marooned Sailor's Supper'.
Pondies are found in freshwater Ponds. No other fish, not even Splashtails appear in these ponds.
Do not require Bait to catch.

- Wooden Plank - Resource Item, cannot be sold.
- Old Boot - Sold for 10
to The Hunter's Call.
- Old Hat - Sold for 10
to The Hunter's Call.
- Old Skull - Sold for 10
to The Hunter's Call.
- Fish Bones - Sold for 10
to The Hunter's Call.
- Ashen Key - Sold for 5
to the Bilge Rats or used to open Ashen Chests.
Trivia
- Although ponds appear on many islands, not all of them are large enough to host fish.
- Of these larger ponds, not all contain Pondies; some ponds contain salt water and Splashtails can be seen swimming in them.
- Despite having Pondies swimming in them, some Ponds (like a pond at Old Faithful Isle) cannot be fished at.
