Skeleton Runes
Skeleton Runes, or Skeleton Glyphs, are the written symbols of an arcane language used by Skeletons and Skeleton Lords. They were first seen on the Box of Wondrous Secrets and are used on a number of items, and locations. The deck of Obscure Fortune-Telling Cards is one notable occurrence of Skeleton Runes, and are used to tease upcoming content.
Leading up to the release of Season 16, Madame Olga's Obscure Fortune-Telling Cards revealed a message: "Order Bone Blade" foretelling the arrival of Flameheart's elite skeletons, the Order of Bone and Blade. This new band of skeletons have since vandalized Madame Olga's building and all Outposts across The Sea of Thieves with graffiti messages written in skeleton runes.
