The Ship Customisation Chest is a stationary item found next to the Shipwright Shop at Outposts, or found at the dock at The Reaper’s Hideout.
Players can use this chest to browse and swap the visual cosmetics on their Ships.
Ship Customisation Chest sections
Unlike other customisation chests, the Ship Customisation Chest is broken into two sections:
- "Ship Customisation" holds the standard customisation items for all ships.
- "Ship Decoration" holds decorative items for Captained ships

The following can only be equipped on a Captained Galleon:
- Captain's Chair - The Chair behind the Captain's Table, used to sit.
- Captain's Chandelier - The Chandelier that hangs in the middle of the Captain's Cabin, used as a light source.
- Captain's Curtains - The Curtains located above the Captain's Table, just for decoration.
Notes
- Players can only change the appearance of a ship they are a crew of.
- There is a limited distance a player is able to change their ship cosmetics from. Going outside of this distance disables opening of the customisation box.
