Emissary Value
Emissary Value is player statistic associated to Trading Company Emissaries. A player's Emissary Value for each Trading Company is displayed among other players' values on a leaderboard known as an Emissary Ledger.
Mechanics
Emissary Value can only be gained from selling Company-related Treasure items to a Trading Company's Representative while flying the Emissary Flag as an Emissary for that Company. Each Treasure Item has a set base Emissary Value that will be added on top of the player's total Emissary Value. A Higher Emissary Grade on your flag also increases the amount of Emissary Value you get for each sold item. Selling Company-specific Treasure while representing the Company with an Emissary Grade V Emissary Flag will double the amount of Emissary Value for any sold Items.
Any gained Emissary Value will be added to a player's Emissary Ledger, which acts as a Leaderboard for Trading Companies. Every Company's Emissary Ledger divides all of the Company's Emissaries into four tiers based on their total Emissary Value. Emissary Ledgers can be checked from the Reputation tab in the Pirate Menu or on the Official Website Emissary Leaderboards page. At the end of each month, every Emissary Ledger will be closed and reset, removing any gained Emissary Value.
All players who have enough Emissary Value to be placed in the two highest tiers in an Emissary Ledger will receive special Trading Company themed Sails cosmetics after the close of a Ledger.
Emissary Value gains are only shared within a player's Crew and not between Player Alliances.
Emissary Grade Multipliers
The following table shows the Emissary Value increases with each Emissary Grade for selling Company-related Treasure Items as an Emissary:

Selling the Treasure of other Companies to the Reaper's Bones rewards Crews with just 25% of the item's original Emissary Value.
Some Treasure items have no Emissary Value, such as selling your own Broken Emissary Flag to the Reaper's Bones, any Container Chest to any Company or an Ammo Crate to the Merchant Alliance (for some reason the Ammo Crate has a value for Reaper's Bones). Treacherous Plunder has no value, as it cannot be sold to Reaper's Bones.
