The Sapphire Breath of the Sea is one of the Breath of the Sea treasures in Sea of Thieves. Breath of the Seas are believed to be the liquidized form of Mermaid Gems.
Where to find
Breath of the Seas can only be found in:
- Found in the Siren Shrine or Siren Treasury lead to during a Coral Message in a Bottle voyage.
Rewards
Sapphire Breath of the Seas can be sold to:
- Hoarders stationed at Gold Hoarders tents on Outposts for Gold and Gold Hoarders Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Gold Hoarders Emissary).
- Madames stationed inside Order of Souls tents on Outposts for Gold and Order of Souls Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as an Order of Souls Emissary).
- Merchant Alliance Senior Traders stationed at the docks of Outposts for Gold and Merchant Alliance Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Merchant Alliance Emissary).
- The Servant of the Flame at The Reaper’s Hideout for Gold and Reaper's Bones Reputation and Emissary Value (if sailing as a Reaper's Bones Emissary).
- The Hunter's Call at Seaposts for Gold and Hunter's Call Reputation.

Notes
- Picking up and placing a Breath of the Sea on a Ship for the first time gives Emissary Grade Reputation to Trading Company Emissaries representing all factions except Athena's Fortune.
- A Sapphire Breath of the Sea will emit a light blue glint from a distance.
- A Breath of the Sea can be placed inside any Container Chests. These Chests allow Players to carry up to three small Treasure items.
- A Breath of the Sea can be caught with a Harpoon.
- Players may receive multiple quests for the same Siren Shrine or Treasury, resulting in multiple Breath of the Seas (one per quest) being available at once.
- The Breath of the Sea reward isn't visible to other crews until it's been picked up by the crew that owns that quest.
