Sailor's Chest

The Sailor's Chest is a type of Treasure Chest in Sea of Thieves. Treasure Chests are locked with locks that can only be opened by Skeleton Keys held by Gold Hoarders on every Outpost. They are willing to buy these Chests for a fraction of their worth.

Dug up during the An Introduction to the Gold Hoarders voyage
Dropped by sunken Skeleton Ships during A Battle with a Skeleton Fleet Raid Voyage for the Gold Hoarders

Notes

Picking up and placing Treasure Chests on a Ship for the first time gives Emissary Grade Reputation to Trading Company Emissaries representing the Gold Hoarders or Reaper's Bones.
There is an Ashen version of this Chest, worth roughly double the regular Chest, which can be commonly uncovered from Ashen Treasure Maps or found in The Devil's Roar Region, but are not limited to these sources.
All Treasure Chests emit a White Glint from a distance.
Treasure Chests can be caught with a Harpoon.
