Achievements

Achievements are challenges available through Xbox, Steam and PlayStation 5 platforms. They are tracked and displayed on the player's platform profile rather than through Sea of Thieves itself. On Xbox, completing an achievement rewards an amount of Gamerscore to the player's Xbox account and unlock artwork that can be used as wallpaper. On Steam, players can display their earned Achievements under the Achievement Showcase section of their player profile. On PlayStation 5, players are rewarded trophies. Any achievements players unlock on their Xbox account will be synced to their Steam account when they log into the game on Steam.

These are not to be confused with Commendations which are in-game challenges that reward players with Cosmetics, Titles and Currency. While these different challenge systems are not entirely the same, some Achievements share the challenge goals with Commendations or are connected via the completion of a given Commendation.
